Maraaj Chowdhury

Maraaj Chowdhury is a Systems Engineer at DEKA Research & Development, focusing on electro-mechanical system architecture and design for medical devices since August 2023. Previously, Maraaj interned at DEKA Research & Development, where significant contributions were made in designing and verifying electromechanical test fixtures for class 3 medical devices. Additional experience includes a Biomedical Internship at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where an innovative glucose monitoring device was developed, and a Research and Design Internship at Cleveland Clinic, emphasizing the engineering design process. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as an Associate of Science degree from Dallas College.
