Chris Bennett

Chris Bennett is a seasoned professional in commercial real estate finance with extensive experience since 2000. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for CREFC Europe, Chris has previously held leadership roles, including Immediate Past Chair, Chair, and Chair Elect. As the Managing Director and Head of the London Branch at DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale since 2008, responsibilities encompass the strategic oversight of UK and Irish commercial real estate lending programs. Chris's expertise includes senior real estate debt origination and client relationship management, with a notable focus on Central London office financing. Previous roles at Citigroup and Allied Irish Banks contributed to a robust background in real estate solutions across Europe. Chris holds an MSc in Accounting & Management Science from the University of Southampton and a BSc in Mathematics from Cardiff University.
