Michael Wegener

Michael Wegener has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Michael currently serves as the Head of Quant Products Equities/Fixed Income at Deka Investment since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Managing Director at AQR Capital Management from April 2019 to November 2020. At Deka Investment, they held various roles including Head of Quant Products Equities/Fixed Income from February 2014 to March 2019, Head of Quant Fixed Income from September 2007 to January 2014, and Research Manager of Quantitative Asset Allocation from August 2004 to September 2007. Michael also worked as a Lecturer at DVFA e.V. from April 2013 to September 2015 and as an Adjunct Professor at Wiesbaden Business School from May 2013 to November 2014.

Michael Wegener obtained a Diplom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Universität Bielefeld.
