Alex Cushenan

Alex Cushenan is an experienced investigator currently serving at the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office since April 2022, specializing in homicide and gang cases. Prior to this role, Alex held the position of Lieutenant on the Command Staff in Chamblee from September 2011 to April 2022, earning multiple commendations including the Merit Award for rescuing a kidnapped child and the Life Saving Award for providing CPR. Previous experience includes service as a member of the Violent Crime Task Force with the DeKalb County Police Department from September 2008 to September 2011, as well as a role as a Hospitality Coordinator at The Masquerade Atlanta from March 2003 to January 2008.
