Michele MacKenzie

Michele MacKenzie, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has over 30 years of work experience in various HR roles. Michele began their career at Mervyn's/Target Corporation, where they spent over 12 years as a Store Manager, Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Area Manager. Michele then joined Safeway, Inc. as a Human Resources Advisor, providing support to managers and employees in multiple stores. Michele later became the HR Development Manager and HR Manager, Employment, overseeing training programs and management development. MacKenzie then joined Safeway.com as an HR Director, supporting the online grocery delivery business. Finally, they served as the HR Director for Information Technology at Safeway, Inc., providing HR support to over 1700 IT employees. In 2014, MacKenzie joined Del Monte Foods, Inc. as the Director of Corporate HR and Diversity.

Michele MacKenzie, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Oregon State University. Michele also possesses additional certifications in SPHR and SHRM-SCP.
