Daryl L. Hawkins

Daryl L. Hawkins, Ed.D, is a seasoned professional in higher education and community engagement, currently serving as the Coordinator of Equity and Diversity at Delaware County Intermediate Unit since February 2021. Previously, Daryl held roles at the Project Management Institute, including Business Development Analyst and Academic Programs Specialist, where responsibilities encompassed academic outreach and volunteer engagement. As Dean of Students at Eastern University from 2002 to 2017, Daryl led initiatives in student success, crisis management, and policy development, along with a focus on multicultural awareness and sexual assault prevention. Additional experience includes leadership roles in various organizations, emphasizing diversity and inclusion, program development, and counseling services. Daryl holds an EdD in Higher Education Leadership and Management from Regent University, as well as multiple degrees in theology, mental health counseling, and criminal justice.
