Lei Xu Pe

Lei Xu, PE, has extensive experience in transportation engineering and project management. As a Transportation Engineer Intern at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Lei Xu participated in various projects, including data collection, model validation, and traffic impact analysis, utilizing engineering software such as VISUM, VISSIM, and ArcGIS. Lei Xu served as a Conference Coordinator for the 2016 Annual Conference of the International Group for Lean Construction, contributing to program development and event organization. With a PhD in construction management from the University of Cincinnati, Lei Xu mastered critical project management methods and explored lean approaches. Prior experience includes structural design and project management as a Staff Engineer at the Shenyang Gas & Heating Research Design Institute. Currently, Lei Xu holds multiple titles at the Delaware Department of Transportation, including Statewide Traffic Projects Manager and Traffic Safety Engineer, overseeing contracts, project development, and coordination of safety improvement initiatives.
