Matt Enright

Director of Data Analytics at Delaware Health Information Network

Matt Enright has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Matt began their career at Fagin Advisory Services as a Consultant, where they provided consulting services to large physician practices. Matt then moved on to Physician Health Corporation/Surgical Health Corporation as the Director of Operations, where they led the day-to-day operations of the Management Services Organization and negotiated at-risk contracts with major insurers.

In 1995, Matt joined Deloitte as a Senior Manager, specializing in healthcare. Matt also worked as a Consultant at Booz Allen during this time. From 2002 to 2015, they served as the President and CEO of James Advisors, leading the Healthcare Practice and building strong relationships with healthcare clients.

In 2015, Matt became the Practice Leader for Healthcare Advisory Services at RGP, where they focused on business development and market growth in the Southeast region. Matt then joined Piedmont Healthcare in 2017, initially as the Executive Director of Project Management, Patient Safety, and Quality, and later as the Project Manager of Value Based Care. In these roles, they oversaw strategic projects, developed and implemented Lean Six Sigma programs, and collaborated with various departments on cost-saving initiatives.

Matt also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Mercer University and Emory University, teaching Lean Six Sigma to graduate-level students and professionals. Currently, they are the Director of Data Analytics at Delaware Health Information Network, responsible for leveraging data to drive insights and improve healthcare outcomes.

Matt Enright has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (BSIE) from the Rochester Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1988 to 1991. Matt then pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, Matt also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned in July 2006. Matt has also obtained the title of Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) from the American College of Healthcare Executives in October 2018. Furthermore, Matt has completed two certificate programs at Harvard Business School Online, obtaining a Certificate in Business Analytics and a Certificate in Data Science for Business, both in 2021.
