Delaware Nature Society
Marcus Henry is a board member of the Delaware Nature Society and was formerly with the New Castle County Government where they served in various leadership roles. Marcus was responsible for negotiating the purchase of a former Sheraton hotel to create the Hope Center, an innovative facility that provides integrated services for unhoused people in New Castle County. Marcus also oversaw the site selection and land acquisition for the new Middletown Library. In addition to these accomplishments, Marcus also helped revive the New Castle Ice Cream Festival after it had been canceled for nearly a decade.
Marcus Henry has a MPA from the University of Delaware in State and Local Government Administration and a BA from Howard University in Journalism.
