Nikita R. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple educational institutions. They began their career in 2010 at the Community College of Philadelphia, where they worked as a College and Career Workshop facilitator until 2011. They then joined Delaware State University as an Academic Advisor from 2011 to 2014. Following this, they transitioned to Commonwealth Charter Academy Cyber Charter School, where they served as a School Counselor from 2014 to 2017. Returning to Delaware State University in 2017, Nikita R. held various positions, including Associate Director of Academic Programming for Student Athletes from 2017 to 2019, Associate Director of Academic Services for Student-Athletes from 2019 to 2022, and currently holds the role of Director of Graduate Student Support Services in the School of Graduate, Adult and Extended Studies.
Nikita R. has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from North Carolina Central University, which was obtained in 1996. Nikita R. also holds a Master of Education degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from Wilmington University, earned in 2009. Additionally, Nikita R. has obtained certifications in School Guidance Counselor from the State of Pennsylvania in 2014, as well as certifications in School Counseling from the State of Maryland and State of Delaware.
