Stephen Smith

Stephen Smith has extensive experience working in various roles at Delaware State University. stephen started their career as a Graduate Intern at the Office of Student Judicial Affairs in May 2017, where they gained valuable experience in student affairs. Later that year, they also worked as a Graduate Assistant at the Department of Education's PRAXIS Lab. In January 2019, Stephen transitioned to the role of Associate Director in the Office of Student Leadership and Activities, where they played a key role in engaging and developing student leaders. Most recently, in July 2021, they took on the position of Associate Director of Student Engagement Programs, further expanding their impact on student engagement at the university.

Stephen Smith earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Delaware State University between 1982 and 1987. stephen later obtained a Master of Education in Educational Leadership in Higher Education from the same university between 2015 and 2017.
