Brent Barnes

Brent Barnes, CTS-D/I, currently serves as an AV Project Engineer at Delcom Group since May 2022, following a nearly 15-year tenure at Sound Techs where Brent held the roles of Project Manager and Systems Designer. In these positions, Brent designed audio, video, stage lighting, and control systems, acting as the primary contact for clients throughout various projects. Prior experience includes a role in Technical Arts at Gateway Church, focusing on the installation and maintenance of audio and video systems, as well as live video production. Brent started in the industry as an A/V Technician at Sound Techs, providing installation and service for audio, video, and stage lighting systems while engaging directly with clients. Brent's educational background includes studies at Stephen F. Austin State University and Lufkin High School.
