Cheri Galecke

Cheri Galecke, PHR has extensive experience in human resources, starting their career in 1993 at UW Health as an HR Generalist and progressing to roles such as Employee Relations Manager and HR Director. Cheri then moved on to work at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center as the Director of Human Resources, followed by Wipfli LLP as a Senior Human Resources Consultant. Cheri joined DeLeers Construction, Inc. in 2006 as the Director of Human Resources, where they provided overall operational and strategic HR leadership to the company. Cheri held similar roles at Joseph A. Interiors and DeLeers Construction & DeLeers Millwork. In 2018, they became a Board Member and Chairperson of the Board at the Bay Area Workforce Development Board. Cheri also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Bay Area Humane Society and the Green Bay Botanical Garden. Additionally, they worked as a Business Advisor at Beyond Building, LLC. Cheri's experience includes overseeing various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and training and development programs.

Cheri Galecke earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Cheri attended the university from 1987 to 1990.
