Scott Self

Scott Self has extensive work experience in finance, strategic planning, and risk management. Scott started their career at Accenture, where they worked as a Manager in the Energy and Natural Resources division, implementing risk management processes and systems for Duke Energy Corporation. Scott then joined Progress Energy as the Vice President of Finance, responsible for strategic planning and financial operations. After that, Scott worked at the Tennessee Valley Authority in various roles, including Vice President of Financial Planning Analysis and Vice President of Enterprise Planning & Strategic Planning, where they led projects to optimize operating costs and improve bottom line results. Most recently, Scott worked at Delek US Holdings, Inc. as the Senior Director of Finance and Director. Overall, Scott has a strong background in finance, planning, and risk management, with experience in operational optimization and strategic decision-making.

Scott Self obtained an MBA in Finance from Emory University in 1995-1996. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the University of Georgia in 1990-1994. In addition to their degrees, Scott Self has also acquired certifications, including a Yellow Belt from GoLeanSixSigma.com in January 2016 and a Security Clearance from the United States in January 2015.
