Aakanksha Rangnekar

Aakanksha Rangnekar is a bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in data science and engineering within the biomedical field. Currently serving as a Staff Bioinformatics Engineer at DELFI Diagnostics since August 2021, Aakanksha previously worked as a Data Scientist at Quadrant Biosciences Inc from December 2017 to August 2021. Aakanksha's background includes participating as a team member in the NIH Startup Challenge for Latona Therapeutics at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where collaboration focused on developing a business plan for targeted drug delivery using photoactivatable nanoparticles. Additional roles include a Data Management Consultant at Arrayo, where Aakanksha led initiatives for metadata management and oncology dataset organization, and positions at the Medical Imaging Research Center and MedBiomarkers that contributed to understanding cancer through data analysis. Aakanksha holds a Master of Science Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, complemented by a minor in Applied Voice from VanderCook College of Music, and an Engineer's Degree from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College.
