Ariel Gershman

Ariel Gershman is a Staff/Senior Bioinformatics Scientist currently at DELFI Diagnostics, where they work on enhancing the DELFI cfDNA fragmentation assay and developing new applications in oncology. Prior to this, they were a PhD Candidate at The Johns Hopkins University focusing on epigenetics with long read sequencing technologies. Ariel also has experience in analytical development at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical, tutoring organic chemistry at UCSB, and conducting bioterrorism research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Their educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Pharmacology from UC Santa Barbara and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering; Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology at The Johns Hopkins University.
