Gustavo Carvalho

Gustavo Carvalho is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and data analysis within the renewable energy sector. As the Head of Software Engineering at Delfos since January 2017, Gustavo oversees three specialized teams in backend development, data engineering, and product deployment, leveraging both software skills and industry expertise to drive strategic software initiatives. Previous roles include Data Scientist, managing SCADA databases and creating predictive models for wind turbine systems, and Undergraduate Researcher positions at Columbia University and the Aeronautics Institute of Technology, focusing on hydrocarbonate mixtures and wind turbine performance optimization, respectively. Gustavo holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Methods and Modeling from the Federal University of Ceara and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical-Aeronautical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica.
