Ashika D Maharaj is an accomplished researcher currently affiliated with Delft University of Technology since February 2023. Maharaj holds several positions in various organizations, including Co-Chair of the Measuring What Matters Symposium 2023 and Chair of the Australia New Zealand SIG at the International Society for Quality of Life Research. Additionally, Maharaj serves as a Research Fellow (Affiliate) at the Upper Gastrointestinal Cancer Registry at Monash University and has been involved with Monash University since July 2016 as a Teaching Associate, Postdoctoral Researcher, and PhD Candidate in Public Health & Preventative Medicine. Previous roles include Registratie Coordinator at DICA and Scientific Officer at Julius Clinical. Maharaj's extensive career in healthcare also includes leadership in patient safety and pharmaceutical audits at Counties Manukau Health, as well as experience as a Senior Pharmacist at Waitemata District Health Board. Educational qualifications consist of a PhD in Medicine from Monash University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Otago.
