Frans Klijn

Frans Klijn is a distinguished academic and specialist in environmental science, currently serving as a Professor in Adaptive Delta Management at TU Delft since June 2015. With extensive experience in river basin management, Frans Klijn has been a Senior Specialist at Deltares since 2008 and held the position of Senior Advisor at WL | Delft Hydraulics from 1996 to 2007. Prior academic roles include Researcher and Assistant Professor at Leiden University from 1987 to 1997 and Assistant Professor at the University of Amsterdam from 1985 to 1987. Educational credentials include a PhD in Environmental Science from Leiden University and an MSc in Physical Geography from the University of Amsterdam, supplemented by studies at Uppsala University.
