Frank Meire

Frank Meire has had an extensive career in the field of sustainability, health, and safety. Frank currently holds the position of Director of Sustainability, Health and Safety at Delhaize Belgium since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the EMEA EHS Manager at Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials from 2021-2022. From 2015 to 2020, they were the Group Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager at La Lorraine Bakery Group NV, where they were responsible for implementing the company's safety vision. Before that, they held various positions in sustainability, safety, and environment management at companies such as Unilin, Alpro, Vandemoortele, Gates Corporation, Fina Oleochemicals, and Monsanto. Frank Meire began their career as a Junior Scientist in Fire Safety at Ghent University in 1991.
