Brett Johnson has over 18 years of work experience in the wine industry. Brett is currently the Portfolio Director at Delicato Family Wines since 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Marketing Director at WX Brands from 2018 to 2020, where they led the marketing efforts for Bread & Butter Wines. Before that, they worked as a Brand Manager at Crimson Wine Group, managing the marketing for Seghesio Family Vineyards and Chamisal Vineyards. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Brand Manager at Delicato Family Vineyards, where they kept brands current and connected with consumers and trade. Brett also worked as a Business Analyst at Delicato Family Vineyards from 2011 to 2012, providing strategic financial support to sales and marketing. Earlier in their career, they served as a Pricing Analyst at Winery Exchange from 2005 to 2011.
Brett Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business (Management) from Sonoma State University, from the year 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Sonoma State University, which took place between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, they obtained the WSET Level 1 Award in Wine certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in May 2018.
