Michael Whitten

Michael Whitten is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in the beverage industry. Currently serving as an Area Sales Manager at Delicato Family Wines since January 2021, Michael has significantly enhanced sales processes and market share through strategic account management. Previously, as the State Sales Manager at Harmony Extracts, achievements included nearly 100% monthly sales growth. Michael's tenure at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits lasted over a decade, where notable accolades included being named Off Premise Manager of the Year in 2018 and 2019, and Off Premise Sales Representative of the Year in 2014. Michael played a key role in the development of a new CRM platform, SGPROOF, and holds a Level 1 Certificate from the Court of Master Sommelier. Michael earned a degree in Sociology, Communication, and Media Studies from the University of Northern Colorado.
