Gabriel Lopez

Gabriel Lopez has a wealth of experience in the IT industry, beginning with their role as an I.T. Consulting Program Manager at Unisys from 2001-2006. Gabriel then moved on to become an EMEA I.T. Program Leadership Manager at Amdocs from 2006-2009. Following this, they held two roles at HP from 2009-2016, first as an EMEA Business Manager for I.T. Strategy, Innovation and Transformation, and then as a Senior Manager Consulting for the same practice. In 2016, they became the Managing Director of BEAGA ASESORES SL, leveraging Mobile and Web Technologies, Business Process Automation (BPA), Data Management and Analytics to design, set up and manage a portfolio of IT-Enable SMEs. Gabriel also provided advisory services for companies in need of IT transformations and/or innovation. From 2021-2022, they served as an advisor to the General Manager of Gorillas Technologies Spain Ltd, Deliveristo.com and DTM S.L. In 2015, they were the General Manager/IT Director of DeTemporada S.L., transforming the company using tailored made IT systems with embedded business processes.

Gabriel Lopez began their educational journey in 1998 when they attended Universidad Nebrija to pursue a degree in Telecom System Engineering. Gabriel graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Engineering in Computer Engineering. From 2001 to 2003, they continued their studies at Universidad Nebrija and obtained a degree in IT Engineering with a Bachelor of Science Engineering in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. In 2004, they enrolled in Esade to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law and graduated in 2006.

In 2006, Gabriel Lopez completed an Agile Scrum and Methodology Course at Esade in Project Management. In 2002, they obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from the Cisco Networking Academy. Later, they obtained a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in Telecommunications Engineering from the Cisco Networking Academy. In 2007, Gabriel Lopez obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in London. In 2008, they completed a Financial Modelling and Value Map course from Financial Mechanics in London. Finally, in 2009, they obtained a Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner certification from Prince2 Project Method in London.
