Mila Svetlova

Mila Svetlova has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mila is currently working at Deliveroo as a Science Director, where they started in April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Machine Learning Manager at Deliveroo from February 2022 to April 2023. Before joining Deliveroo, Mila worked at Booking.com as a Machine Learning Manager from November 2019 to February 2022. Mila also worked at Apple as a Data Science Manager from March 2017 to November 2019, and as a Data Scientist from October 2015 to March 2017. Mila's earlier work experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at HomeAway.com from September 2013 to October 2015, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Brownsville from September 2012 to August 2013. Mila also worked as a Research Assistant at the National Research University - Higher School of Economics from September 2008 to June 2012, and as an Auditor Assistant - Commercial & Consumer Markets at KPMG Russia from November 2011 to May 2012. Mila started their career as an Intern in Marketing planning and analysis at Megafon in July 2009.

Mila Svetlova has a strong educational background in mathematics and computer science. Mila obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Higher School of Economics in 2011. Following this, they pursued further education and earned a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the same institution between 2011 and 2013. Simultaneously, they also pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Brownsville during the same period.
