Shane Ahmed

Shane Ahmed is a seasoned recruiting professional with extensive experience in technology and engineering talent acquisition. Currently serving as a Senior Recruiting Manager at Deliveroo since November 2020, Shane previously held roles at Amazon as a Lead Recruiter, where involvement included senior leadership collaboration for international engineering recruitment. Prior to Amazon, Shane contributed to Deliveroo as a Recruiting Lead focusing on Data Science and Machine Learning hiring, and played a key role in various diversity initiatives and tech events strategy. Experience also includes technical recruiting at Facebook where Shane built Data Science functions and a tenure as Managing Consultant at Engage PSG, specializing in tech talent placement in Germany. Additionally, Shane started as a Trading Technology Consultant at NJF Search International. Academically, Shane holds a BSc Hons in Business Management from the University of Roehampton.
