Chitra Thankaswamy is the SVP of Global Commercial Client Solutions Marketing at Dell Technologies. Chitra has over 13 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on brand strategy and customer insights.

Thankaswamy began their career at Dell in 2007 as a Marketing Sr. Consultant. In this role, they provided insights and guidance to the Brand, Messaging, and Mergers & Acquisitions teams on key marketing decisions. Chitra also played a pivotal role in the re-launch of the Dell brand, developing and implementing the research roadmap to support the evaluation, refinement, and measurement of the brand.

In 2011, Thankaswamy transitioned to a role in Customer Insights, where they advised the online team and agency for the Dell.com redesign to simplify the purchase experience. Chitra also designed a global consumer segmentation solution based on consumers’ product usage needs and purchase behavior.

Thankaswamy has been with Dell Technologies for over 13 years and in their current role as SVP of Global Commercial Client Solutions Marketing, they are responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy for Dell’s commercial client solutions.

Chitra Thankaswamy has a Master's in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Bharathidasan University.

Chitra Thankaswamy reports to Allison Dew, CMO. They work with Geraldine Tunnell - SVP, Marketing, Kristen Nolte - VP of Digital Marketing and CEP, and Jennifer Davis - SVP, Corporate Affairs.
