Duke Nyangweso

Duke Nyangweso has extensive experience in electrical engineering, primarily with Delmarva Power since June 2015, where roles have included Section Engineer in Distribution Engineering & Design, Senior Engineer in Regional Reliability and Capacity Planning, and General Engineer in Capacity Planning. Responsibilities have encompassed developing load growth forecasts, system planning for load and reliability, and managing Distributed Energy Resources applications to maintain grid integrity. Prior experiences include an Electrical Engineer co-op at Covanta, an Engineering Maintenance Intern at Gerdau Long Steel North America, and various internships at Delmarva Power focusing on system protection, substation equipment, and electric power distribution. Duke Nyangweso holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
