Marcin Stefan Zielinski has work experience in various roles and companies. Marcin Stefan started their career as a Project Support Engineer at Airtel Systems from 2006 to 2007. After that, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in Nanophotonics at École Normale Supérieure de Cachan from 2007 to 2011. Marcin Stefan then joined EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2011 to 2015.

In 2015, Zielinski joined Attolight as an Application Engineer and later became a Senior Application Specialist from 2017 to 2018. In these roles, they provided technical and scientific expertise to external customers for failure analysis, metrology, and material science.

Most recently, since 2020, Zielinski has been working at Delmic as a Project Manager, responsible for managing R&D projects in the field of cryogenic light-electron microscopy. Marcin Stefan is also the Project Manager and Coordinator of two European Horizon 2020 grants at the company.

Marcin Stefan Zielinski completed their education in a chronological order, starting with their Engineer's degree in Chemistry from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, which they obtained from 2001 to 2006. Marcin Stefan then pursued a Master's degree in Chemistry from the same institution, graduating in 2007. Afterward, they attended École Normale Supérieure de Cachan from 2007 to 2011, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics.
