Wessel Teunisse

Wessel Teunisse is currently an Applicatie Specialist in Cryo EM at Delmic, a role assumed in April 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Policy Advisor on the Safety of Nanomaterials at the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment from February 2022 to March 2023, where work focused on national and international projects related to Safe and Sustainable by Design strategies. Wessel also contributed as a Coach/Developer at Move a-Head from January 2018 to April 2022, leveraging movement to enhance cognitive performance. Additional roles included teaching physics at Emmaus College and Lyceum Ypenburg, and developing workshops with StudieStap. Research experience includes positions at Delft University of Technology and Biofaction KG, focusing on biosafety and synthetic biology. Wessel holds a Master's in Science Communication and a Master's in Nanobiology from Delft University of Technology and Erasmus University Rotterdam, along with a Bachelor's in Nanobiology.
