Anthony Viel

Anthony Viel has been the CEO at Deloitte Canada since January of 2020.

Prior to their current role, Mr. Viel worked as the Business Development Analyst for EnergyAustralia from 1998 to 2000. During their time there, they also held positions in compliance and shared services analytics.

Before their work at EnergyAustralia, Mr. Viel was the National Intelligence and Analytics Leader at ASIC from 1993 to 1998. During their time there, they also held roles in market investigations.

Anthony Viel graduated from Macquarie University with a Master of Applied Finance. Anthony then went on to complete a LLM at the University of Sydney. After that, they completed a Dip.Law at the Legal Practitioners Admission Board. Finally, they completed a BEc in Actuarial Studies at Macquarie University.
