Anthony Checkas

Anthony Checkas has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Anthony started their career at CH2M HILL as a Support Desk Specialist, providing technical support to over 6000 corporate users. Anthony then worked at Western Stone and Metal Corp. as a Network Administrator, managing servers and networks. Anthony then joined Fiserv Correspondent Services as a PC Systems/Network Engineer, where they installed and maintained various services. Anthony later became the Information Systems Manager at Hanifen, Imhoff Inc., where they implemented an Information Systems department and managed infrastructure. Anthony then worked at USWest Dex as a Unix System Administrator, handling capacity planning and performance tuning. Anthony joined Sun Microsystems as a Technical Support Engineer, providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 assistance for High Availability Services. During their time at Sun Microsystems, they also worked as a Workforce Systems Developer/Analyst, co-developing an application and developing internal tools. Anthony then joined Oracle as a Software Engineer, troubleshooting escalated bugs and participating in code reviews. Anthony later joined MobileDay as a Senior Software Engineer and MapMyFitness as a Senior Software Developer. Currently, Anthony is working at Delphix as a Staff Engineer, providing support to customers and collaborating with Engineering to troubleshoot complex issues and enhance the product.

Anthony Checkas attended the Colorado School of Mines from 1992 to 1994. During this time, they studied Physics and Computer Science, but did not complete a degree.
