Jason Grauel has a diverse work experience in product management and strategy roles. Jason began their career at Symantec in 2005, working as a Product Specialist and later as a Senior Product Specialist focusing on sales enablement, marketing, and customer outreach for messaging security products. Jason also managed product requirements for Service Provider products and the reporting/UI aspects of SMS 8200/Brightmail Gateway appliance.
In 2008, Jason became a Product Manager at Symantec, where they worked on Symantec Messaging Gateway. Jason successfully entered a new market with compliance filtering features, improved product quality, shifted the product from SMB to large enterprise, and transitioned from a specialist driven sales model to a generalist driven sales model.
From 2009 to 2011, Jason held the role of Senior Product Manager at Symantec, focusing on Symantec Protection Center. Jason conducted global requirement research by meeting with key Symantec customers, created a three-year centralized management strategy, and collaborated with internal and external teams for alignment and integration.
Jason then joined Delphix in 2012 as a Senior Product Marketing Manager. In 2014, they became a Senior Product Manager and helped launch the product management function at Delphix. Jason managed the product management summer intern program and engaged in a product audit.
In 2015, Jason was promoted to Director of Product Management at Delphix, where they drove clarity to challenging aspects of the product line, including entering new markets and solving existing problems. In 2016, they further advanced to the position of Senior Director of Product Management. Their responsibilities at Delphix included deep technical topics, market analysis, and working with customers.
Jason's most recent role is Vice President of Product Management at Delphix, which they began in May 2018.
Jason Grauel attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Jason pursued a major in Computer Science and also completed a minor in Economics.
