Matthew Watson

Matthew Watson has a diverse and extensive work experience. Matthew started their career in 2007 as a Senior Production Support Analyst at Netspace Online Systems Pty Ltd, where they worked until 2010. During this time, they also held a similar role at Netspace Online Systems from 2008 to 2010.

In 2010, Matthew joined iiNet as an Oracle Database Administrator at Netspace (a division of iiNet), where they worked for eight months before transitioning to iiNet as a Technical Specialist. Matthew then worked as a Senior DBA from 2011 to 2013.

In 2015, Matthew joined Delphix as a Senior Member of Technical Staff and later progressed to the position of Senior Principal Technical Support Engineer. Currently, they hold the role of Staff Engineer at Delphix, starting in October 2022.

Matthew Watson attended La Trobe University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming. In terms of additional certifications, they received the Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional and the Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate from Oracle in 2013. Furthermore, they were awarded the Engineering Excellence Individual Award from Delphix in November 2022.
