Nick Suwyn

Nick Suwyn has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Nick started their career in 2000 as a Sr. Database Administrator at Associated Food Stores, where they provided top-notch service to over 400 independent grocers. In 2006, they transitioned to Choice Hotels as a Principal Systems Engineer, overseeing a large portfolio of hotels worldwide. During their time there, they played a key role in franchising over 6,300 hotels in more than 35 countries. In addition, they also served as a Wrestling Coach at Mountain Ridge High School, where they helped prepare young adults for personal success. In 1999, Nick co-founded Suwyn IT Solutions, a consulting company that specializes in IT services for small to medium businesses, such as data management, automation, disaster recovery, and desktop support. Most recently, they joined Delphix in 2019 as a Pre Sales Engineer, assisting clients with connecting and securing their data in the office and the cloud. Throughout their career, Nick has accumulated a wide range of skills and expertise in IT and customer service.

Nick Suwyn completed their education with a Master of Information Systems Management degree from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, specializing in Management Information Systems from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Dual Major in Electronic/Computer Technology and Business Administration, with a Minor in Spanish, at Utah State University between 1992 and 1997. Their high school education was completed at Teton High School, although specific dates were not provided. In addition to their formal education, Nick Suwyn has obtained certifications, including a Delphix Pre-Sales Engineering - Master Solution Engineer certification from Delphix in May 2021, and The Open Group Certified: TOGAF® 9 Certified certification from The Open Group.
