Penny Herscher

Penny Herscher has extensive experience serving on the boards of various technology companies. Penny served as the Chairman of the Board and Director of Lumentum from 2008 to 2019, where they oversaw the governance and compensation committees. Penny held the same positions at SGH- SMART Global Holdings since 2021. At FORVIA, they served as a Board Director from 2017, contributing to the company's strategy in sustainable mobility. Penny joined Embark Trucks in 2022 as the Chairman of the Board and Director, focusing on autonomous driving technology for the trucking industry. Penny also served as a Board Director for Modern Health, Delphix, Verint, PROS, Rambus, and FirstRain, bringing their expertise to various companies in the technology sector.

Penny Herscher began their education in 1972 at Wycombe Abbey School, where they studied until 1979. Penny then went on to the University of Cambridge, starting in 1979 and completing their studies in 1982. At Cambridge, Penny obtained a BA HONS and MA in Mathematics from Kings College. In 1991, they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they completed an Executive Leadership Program.
