Jonathan Vafai MD, FACC, FASE is an accomplished cardiologist currently serving as the Chairman of the Department of Cardiology and Medical Director of the Echocardiography Lab at Delray Medical Center since July 2012. In addition to clinical roles, Jonathan Vafai is a Medical Consultant at Change Healthcare and an Affiliate Assistant Professor at Florida Atlantic University. Jonathan Vafai completed a Cardiology Fellowship at Northwell Health, where serving as chief fellow from 2009 to 2010. Prior experiences include an Internal Medicine Residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a Research Fellowship at The Rockefeller University. Jonathan Vafai holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from NYU Grossman School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from NYU College of Arts and Science.
