Russell Copeland

Russell Copeland has extensive experience in software development and management. From 2019 to present, they have served as the Vice President of Software Development & Maintenance at Delta Community Credit Union. Prior to this, they held the position of AVP - Software Development and Maintenance from 2014 to 2019 and Manager - Software Development from 2013 to 2014 at the same company.

Before joining Delta Community Credit Union, Russell worked at Wren Solutions as a Software Development Manager from 2012 to 2013, where they managed the software engineering department and utilized Agile Scrum to build applications for security and business visibility.

From 2008 to 2012, they were a Software Development Manager at MedAssets, overseeing the development of applications for hospital revenue cycle management. Russell also served as a Production Lead Engineer from 2007 to 2008 and a Software Development Team Lead from 2005 to 2007 at the same company.

Russell began their career as a Software Developer at Restaurant Technology, Inc from 2001 to 2004, where they developed various software applications. Russell started their career at GCI Software/Greycat as a Software Developer from 1996 to 2000, gaining experience in the software development life-cycle and running a small software company.

Russell Copeland earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans. Russell attended the university from 1990 to 1996.
