Jennifer Elliott has had a diverse work experience. Jennifer started their career as an intern at NBC's Saturday Night Live in 1993. From there, they worked at Time Warner Inc. as a Manager of Strategic Planning from 1996 to 2000. In 2001, they joined FutureBrand as a Director of Digital Brand Experience until 2006. Jennifer then moved to The Standard, where they served as an Assistant Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Planning from 2006 to 2010. Jennifer then joined The Regence Group as a Vice President of Marketing, working there from 2010 to 2013. Jennifer also simultaneously worked at the University of Oregon from 2009 to 2015, where they were a Graduate Teaching Fellow and taught marketing courses. Finally, Jennifer spent a significant part of their career at Delta Dental Plans Association, starting as a Vice President of Marketing from 2013 to 2018 and then becoming the Chief Marketing Officer from February 2018 onwards.
Jennifer Elliott has a solid educational background in communications, marketing, media studies, and film/TV integrated marketing communications. Jennifer began their academic journey in 1991 at New York University, where they pursued a BFA with academic honors. Their studies focused on film/TV and integrated marketing communications, and they successfully completed their degree in 1996.
After several years in the field, Jennifer decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills by enrolling at The New School in 2003. Jennifer pursued a Master of Arts degree in Media Studies, which they completed in 2008. This program allowed their to delve deeper into the intricacies of media and its related fields.
In 2009, Jennifer Elliott embarked on a new academic endeavor at the University of Oregon. Jennifer enrolled as a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) student in Communications and Marketing. With a keen interest in understanding the factors that influence effective communication strategies, Jennifer dedicated herself to their doctoral studies until 2016.
