Brendan Lyons-Keefe

Brendan Lyons-Keefe, FSA, MAAA has a diverse work experience in actuarial roles. Brendan currently serves as the Director of Actuarial at Delta Dental Ins. since May 2016. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Medical Reinsurance Actuary at Swiss Re from July 2015 to May 2016. Brendan also worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte from February 2014 to July 2015. Brendan pursued an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business from July 2012 to December 2013. Before that, they served as a Senior Actuarial Associate at Kaiser Foundation Health Plan from June 2005 to June 2012. Brendan kick-started their career as an Equity Research Intern at Ulland Investment Advisors from August 2003 to August 2004.

Brendan Lyons-Keefe, FSA, MAAA, holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from USC Marshall School of Business, which was obtained in 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics from Carleton College in 2003. Brendan completed their secondary education at Jesuit High School Portland between 1996 and 1999. Additionally, they are a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), obtained in 2014, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), obtained in 2008.
