Javier Muñoa

Based at the firm’s headquarters in Dubai, Javier is a Senior Managing Director with over 20 years of professional experience, of which 11 years are in the telecoms, media and tech (TMT) industry. Javier’s experience in the TMT sector spans across more than 25 countries including Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. Throughout his career, he has advised key industry clients in strategic assignments, commercial transformations as well as taking interim executive roles.

Prior to joining Delta Partners, Javier worked for several years at Oliver Wyman (then DiamondCluster) for the CMT practice as Senior Principal primarily focused on strategic and transformation projects and commercial strategy. He held CXO roles with key clients and was a member of the founding team for the CMT practice in the Middle East. Javier also worked for Nike EMEA holding several senior executive positions including Sales Director for Northern Europe, Business Sales Director for Iberia and Director for Strategic Planning & Programs for EMEA. Javier also played an active role in FC Barcelona’s management as an Executive Director contributing to its financial and sport success supervising its international expansion across all business lines and leading its retail and merchandising operations.

Javier holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree from ESADE (Spain), an International Management Program from New York University (USA) and a CEMS International Program from Universität St. Gallen in Switzerland. He is fluent in Spanish and English and has a working knowledge of German, French and Portuguese.
