Russell Dreesman

Russell Dreesman has extensive work experience in the intelligence and defense sectors. Russell currently holds the position of Department Head at Delta Solutions and Strategies since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Course Director and Space Professional Development Instructor at the same company from June 2019 to October 2022.

Before joining Delta Solutions and Strategies, Russell had a long career with the United States Air Force. Russell served as the Deputy Chief of Staff of a bi-national, joint intelligence division within North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command from July 2016 to May 2019. Russell also held various other roles such as Deputy Division Director, Air Force Intelligence Cyberspace Career Field Manager, Intelligence Division Director and Senior Foreign Military Intelligence Training Advisor, Air Force Intelligence Officer Career Field Supervisor, Intelligence Director of Special Operations Group, Intelligence Training Division Head, Leadership Development Intern at the National Security Agency, Branch Manager, Section Chief, and Air Force Tech Training Student.

In addition, Russell also worked as a Hiring our Heroes Corporate Fellow Intern at Booz Allen Hamilton from January 2019 to April 2019. Russell began their career as an International Project Manager and Inventory Control Supervisor at CPM Roskamp Champion from May 1997 to January 1999.

Russell Dreesman has a diverse education history. Russell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management: Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa in the years 1992-1997. Russell furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Bowie State University, which they completed in the years 2000-2004. Russell also obtained a Master of Science degree in Information and Telecommunication Systems for Business from The Johns Hopkins University, graduating in the years 2004-2006.

In addition to their formal education, Russell Dreesman has obtained several certifications. Russell earned a Bachelors Certificate in International Business from the University of Northern Iowa in May 1997. Russell also holds certifications such as Cybersecurity Analyst and Introduction to Cyber Intelligence from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, which they obtained in February 2021. Furthermore, they obtained the CISSP Cert Prep: The Basics certification from LinkedIn in April 2019 and the Amazon Web Services certification from Brainbench in November 2018.
