Siphesihle Hlela

Siphesihle Hlela has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2009 as an Event Coordinator Assistant at Thurlow House, they gained experience in customer service and event organization. In 2010, they worked as a Field Manager and Promotor at Offlimit Communications, managing activations for Coca-Cola's "Share a Coke" campaign. Siphesihle then joined Varsity Vibe in 2011 as a Coordinator and Recruiter. In 2014, they transitioned to Frost & Sullivan as a GIS Research Analyst Intern and later became a Best Practices Research Analyst, focusing on the logistics and transportation industry.

Hlela joined Meltwater in 2015, where they held various positions such as Sales Consultant, Client Acquisition Manager, Managing Director of Kenya, and Account Executive. Siphesihle also took on leadership roles within the organization, serving as the Chairperson of the Employment Equity Forum, EMEA D&I Counsel, and Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Meltwater Africa.

Most recently, Hlela joined Delta-v in 2022 as a Sales Director. Siphesihle'sresponsibilities include scaling the Sales Development teams for SaaS and FinTech companies, hiring, training, coaching, and ensuring the teams are equipped to support clients' go-to-market strategies.

Siphesihle Hlela holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental and Geographical Sciences from the University of Cape Town, which they completed from 2010 to 2013. In 2020-2021, they pursued an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, specializing in Startup Entrepreneurship, Strategic Thinking, and Advanced Corporate-Level Strategy, scoring 94%. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Northwestern University in 2022.
