About the Role
The Sales & Pilot Manager will manage the field activities in PowerUP to ensure sales and pilot targets are met. They will build and manage a sales team to find suitable customers and support them on their journey of electric cooking even beyond the time of sales. They will execute pilots to better understand our customers and ensure they fully adopt our e-cooking solutions, starting with electric pressure cookers (EPCs). Key deliverables include executing pilot plans based on their design, reaching product utilization targets, and hitting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, hire, and train field agents
Assess team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
Develop team targets and manage the commercial budget
Manage individual and team performance to ensure pilots are performed as designed and sales quotas are met
Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
Required Experience:
2 years of experience of running pilots (example: pilots regarding price levels, loan repayment, customer satisfaction, referrals, etc…)
Minimum of 5 years of experience of sales of last mile products in the field
Experience in setting up direct distribution channels, hiring, and supervising sales teams
Data analytics and results-oriented skills. Strong excel modeling is an added advantage
Excellent team leadership skills
University degree in a related field
