Dr. Gaby S. Langendijk is a Research Scientist at Deltares, specializing in cities under climate change, climate adaptation services, and regional climate modelling. From December 2017 to April 2023, Dr. Langendijk served as a Research Scientist at the Climate Service Center Germany (GERICS), where notable contributions included the authoring and coordinating of the "10 New Insights in Climate Science 2022" project and co-leading the EU Horizon project Impetus4Change. Additionally, Dr. Langendijk held the position of Managing Editor for the Climate Services Journal from June 2018 to March 2023, overseeing its review process and development. Previous experience includes working as a Science Officer at the World Meteorological Organization and leading a consultancy project for renewable energy opportunities in Paris. Dr. Langendijk holds a Doctor of Science degree in Climate Science from Leuphana University of Lüneburg and advanced degrees from Wageningen University & Research, ETH Zürich, and the University of Amsterdam, achieving "magna cum laude" overall and "summa cum laude" for the doctoral defense.
