Jos Brils

Jos Brils is an experienced professional with a strong background in environmental research and management. Currently serving as the DANUBIUS-RI delegate in the Board of European Environmental Research Infrastructures since September 2023, Jos has also been involved with SedNet since September 2019 in various capacities, including delegate roles in the European enlarged Soil Expert Group, the Zero Pollution Stakeholder Panel, and the Water Framework Directive Common Implementation Strategy Strategic Coordination Group. Additionally, Jos has held the position of Expert at Deltares since January 2010 and was a Senior Project Manager at TNO from April 1998 to January 2010. Early career experience includes a consultant role at AquaSense from May 1992 to April 1998. Jos Brils earned an MSc in Biology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam between 1989 and 1992.
