Marijn Kuijper

Director Digital Transformation at Deltares

Marijn Kuijper has extensive work experience in the fields of water and subsurface research. From 2019 to present, they served as the Director of the Deltares Software Centre, an independent institute focused on developing smart solutions for deltas and coastal regions. Prior to this role, Marijn was the Head of the Subsurface and Groundwater Quality Department, where they worked on water quality and soil remediation projects. From 2016 to 2019, Marijn was the Head of the Groundwater Management Department, leading a team of employees and developing expertise in the field. Before joining Deltares, Marijn worked at TNO as a Geohydrologist from 2002 to 2007. They also had research roles at USDA-ARS and Grontmij during their early career.

Marijn Kuijper obtained a Master of Science degree in Physical Geography and Geohydrology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 1997 and 2002. No specific information regarding further education is available.
