Sem Braaksma is an accomplished Biosafety Officer and Junior Researcher/Consultant at Deltares since November 2022, focusing on subsurface and groundwater quality research. Prior experience includes managing the COVID-19 testing laboratory at Mérieux NutriSciences - Nederland and working as a Research Assistant at the University of Amsterdam, where method development for groundwater pollutants was conducted. Sem has completed internships at various institutions, including microbiology research at Radboud University and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and has experience in patient interaction and postal services. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Microbiology from Radboud University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
