Andy Mears

Andy Mears is an experienced professional in the medical technology field, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Deltex Medical, where significant contributions include pioneering Oesophageal Doppler Monitoring (ODM) for fluid management in surgical and critical care settings. Mears has been with Deltex Medical since October 1989, initially joining as an Electronic Engineer focused on R&D and progressively advancing through various roles, including Group Sales Director and Operations Director. Prior to Deltex, Mears gained foundational experience as an Engineering Apprentice at Granada. Academically, Mears obtained an HNC in Electronic Engineering from Chichester College and completed studies at local grammar and high schools.
