Olivia Linsangan Cantor

Olivia (Libay) Linsangan Cantor is a seasoned freelance translator and proofreader with extensive experience in language localization and subtitle translation. Since June 2021, Olivia has contributed to Duolingo's global language localization team, specializing in English/Tagalog transcreation and proofreading. Other significant roles include subtitle translation for global streaming services at Deluxe, Sublime Subtitling, and ZOO Digital Group plc, as well as content localization for LiveAgent. Olivia has a background in editing and training from NO-BS Marketplace and has produced film-related articles for various international clients. A certified writer-editor-translator by the National Book Development Board of the Philippines since 2018, Olivia holds a Master's degree in English Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Film and Audiovisual Communication from the University of the Philippines.
