Shaka Dickerson is currently the Dean of Students at DeMatha Catholic High School. Shaka has previously worked as an educator for District of Columbia Public Schools, American Council on Internationl Education, and Tree of Life PCS. Shaka has also served as a Volunteer Campaign Coordinator for Larry Edmonds for Board of Education and as a Programming Director for All the Kings' Men.
Shaka Dickerson has a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of the District of Columbia in Urban Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Shaka also has a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership, also known as Leadership & Organizational Performance, from Vanderbilt University. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University in Urban Studies with a minor in African American Studies. Last, but not least, they have a certification from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in Social Enterprise.
They work with William Clark - Assistant Principal, Chair of Department Chairs, Thomas Ponton - Director of Advancement, and Christopher Keplinger - Head Technology Coordinator. Shaka Dickerson reports to James R. Day, President.
